Knicks Storm Past Cavaliers to Move One Win From NBA Finals

The New York Knicks are now just one victory away from reaching the NBA Finals after another dominant performance against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

New York produced a confident and high-energy display to beat Cleveland 121-108 in Game 3, taking a commanding 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. No team in NBA history has ever recovered from a 3-0 deficit in the playoffs, leaving the Cavaliers with a mountain to climb.

Jalen Brunson once again led the way for the Knicks with 30 points, continuing his brilliant postseason form. He was backed up by Mikal Bridges, who added 22 points with some excellent finishing around the basket. OG Anunoby chipped in with 21 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns delivered an all-round performance with 13 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists.

The Knicks looked in control from the opening quarter and never allowed Cleveland to settle into the game. Their fast ball movement, sharp defense, and quick transition play caused constant problems for the Cavaliers.

Cleveland tried to fight back with Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley scoring 23 and 24 points, but the team struggled in defense and could not stop the Knicks’ fast attacking game.

One of the main reasons behind New York’s success in the series has been their strong defense. The Knicks have forced turnovers, limited Cleveland’s shooting chances, and taken advantage of mistakes with quick scoring runs. The Cavaliers also had another difficult night from three-point range.

This latest win also extended New York’s playoff winning streak to 10 games, setting a new franchise postseason record. Most of those victories have come by double-digit margins, showing just how dominant the Knicks have been during this playoff run.

For Knicks fans, the dream of returning to the NBA Finals is becoming very real. The franchise has not reached the Finals since 1999 and has not won an NBA championship since 1973.

Game 4 now becomes a must-win contest for Cleveland. Another Knicks victory would complete a sweep and send New York into the Finals in unforgettable fashion.

Meanwhile, the confidence inside the Knicks camp continues to grow. The players know the job is not finished yet, but their performances so far have made a huge statement to the rest of the league.
